PACT WITH IPOS
이포스와 계약
To help you learn vampiric abilities, particularly the drain of vital essences, it is possible to form a pact with the demon Ipos. This is not an obligation, and it is possible to have great results by working alone. Though, making a pact will save you time and the demon is a great teacher. To perform this ritual, you will dress your altar by placing all the instruments mentioned in the previous chapter upon it. The pact with Ipos will be handwritten on a piece of parchment.You will also take care to make a dagyde symbolizing the person you offer as a sacrifice to Ipos. It is a simple statute of clay, on which pig blood will be poured, and in which will be placed an organic substance of the person. It can be a hair, a nail, or saliva. Anything that may contain a trace of D.N.A. of the selected person constitutes a marker capable oflinking them to the dagyde.

Ipos, also called Ipes or Ayperos, is a demon from classical Goetia. He is said to be a Prince and a Count in Hell by the Lemegeton. He is generally represented as an angel with the head of a lion. He makes men witty and bold. Evoking him will definitely give a boost of self-confidence and courage. Like many demons, he is said to know the past, the present, and the future.

THE EVOCATION

Sit in front of your altar. Light the candles and incense. Place the demon's sigil in front of you. The sigil is your doorway to the demon. Having the sigil and the name of an entity makes it possible to get in touch with it, like an astral telephone number. The incense smoke provides a physical base allowing the entity to solidify its astral body. Relax for as long as needed. Focus on the flame of the black candle in the center of the altar, and meditate on the act you are going to perform, in this case, make a pact with Ipos. While focusing on the candle, and without moving your body, try to move your gaze back. After a few seconds, you will have the impression that a slight fog appears in front of you as if a transparent screen had been placed in front of reality. Observe this screen while focusing on your breath. The astral plane and the physical plane are mixing before your eyes. You are now in the state that allows all magick operations. Your mind has entered a frequency between the spirit realms and ours, that's where the demon will manifest. Let a state oflight trance set in and mix with the euphoria of this first success.

Stay behind the static screen and observe the sigil. When you have the impression that these contours change, and that the sigil starts to flash, it is a sign that it is opened. Using your living imagination, and maintaining your gaze on the sigil, it is possible to focus on two things to allow the manifestation to happen. The first option is to focus on the qualities of the demon, what you know about him. Feel the presence of Ipos grow behind the sigil, but also around you. Feel it invade your room, getting closer to you, becoming denser and more real, until you are able to feel that in a particular place in your room, that someone or something is present, watching you. Do not try to find out if it is your imagination, it does not matter. The imagination is nothing more than the door allowing you to come into contact with the spirit.

The other option is to focus on the goal of the ritual, making a pact with Ipos to learn the art of lifeforce drain. Feel what it would be like if you already had the result in your hands, feel your power and your success. Imagine that your pact has been made and that you have become master in the art of draining lifeforce. Now bring that feeling back into your present, let it fill the room. What invades the room is none other than the astral body of the demon.

Either of these methods can be used to solidify its presence and structure it within your ritual space.

It is imperative to accompany this step with an incantation which you will pronounce while the demon materializes. The incantation acts as a conduit that allows for the manifestation. The incantations that you write yourself are the best and are preferred over the ones that you find in grimoires. Use what you know about Ipos to write one. It doesn't need to be very long. When the presence becomes more intense, your state of trance will become deeper, and it will become difficult to pronounce the incantation. You will then continue by repeating the words:

At this part of the ritual, it is time to deliver your command to the spirit. This step should be conducted with an attitude of Godlike authority. You summoned the entity. Somewhere on the contract, generally at the bottom of the page, you will feel Ipos impose his astral signature. Trace the astral signature left by the demon using a pencil or an ink pen. Let yourself be guided by your trance state.
